In 2026, artROOM Konstanz will once again present itself at art Karlsruhe with its international artists: Silvia Strobos (NL), Elica Tabakova (BG), Thomas Deininger (USA), Rafael Fuchs (USA), Uwe Langmann (D), and Mathias Pürthner (A). The exhibition unites diverse artistic approaches—ranging from painting and photography to sculptural and installation works—while showcasing a shared attitude:
Art transcends borders and speaks a universal language that connects nations and cultures.
Biophilic perspectives play a central role: The artists focus on the beauty of the world and its fragile balance.
Positive thinking and a forward-looking mindset are reflected in the works, inviting viewers to embrace mindfulness, empathy, and appreciation for nature and humanity.
In a One Artist Show, the gallery presents photographer Uwe Langmann, who, as the first artist of artROOM in 2012, laid the foundation for today's program. His reduced, precise visual language creates islands of calm in the visual noise of the present—a deliberate statement for concentration and depth in today's world.
A special focus is also placed on sustainability: Thomas Deininger gives discarded materials new meaning by creating complex assemblages and sculptures from non-recyclable waste. His works highlight the urgency of ecological issues while demonstrating how art, through the transformation of waste, can achieve aesthetic and societal relevance.
With this program, artROOM Konstanz positions itself as a place of encounter and inspiration: Art is not only displayed but experienced as a catalyst for a conscious, hopeful, and connected coexistence.
You will find us at hall 4 / M13.
