Street-art, photography and silkscreen printing are brought together by Patrick Luetzelschwab in one work.
The artist presents his content on two levels;
On his screen prints he often contrasts destroyed places, postindustrial and desolate landscapes with the figures of innocent children. This compound illustrates the particular character of these areas even more intensively.
Also the apparent idyll on the pictures of the series "Lilly and Marie" was broken by industrial elements such as surveillance cameras or nuclear power plants.
Both his graffiti work and the compositions of his photos can be regarded as an attempt to overcome alienation in the postindustrial urban areas.
