Uwe Langmann is a german fine art photographer. In his artistic work, landscapes and objects become projection surfaces for his thoughts and feelings as well as for those of the viewer, who is always invited to actively enter a spiritual dialogue with what he sees. The concept of "emptiness", known from the teachings of Zen Buddhism, plays a decisive role for him. In the interplay of unfinished, seemingly endless space and the concrete, figurative representation of real people, animals, landscapes or objects, he creates surfaces that become resonant spaces.
